Cut from the same cloth

Both new appointees have extensive experience and a deep commitment to the development of community building in Sweden. Lotta Wibeck brings extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in digitalisation and disruptive thinking to an industry that in many respects is characterised by caution and resistance to change.

“In some ways Lotta is cut from the same cloth as those of us at Briab – more yes than no and constantly striving for improvement and development. Her focus on digitalisation is a perfect match for us; it’s an important part of our business and something we see as the way forward,” says Björn Wulff, co-owner and CEO of Briab

A guide on our sustainability journey

Anna Bergström is an architect with extensive experience in project development and sustainability issues who brings competence and drive to Briab.

“Growth through sustainability is the core strategy of our main owner Alder, which means it’s also important for us. Every day we see evidence in the world around us that this is the right choice. Anna is a reliable guide on this journey,” concludes Rikard Appelgren, Chairman of the Board at Briab.

Other changes include the addition of Maja Förberg, Private Equity Analyst at Alder, as an alternate, and Peter Nilsson, co-owner and senior fire engineer, moving from member to alternate.

“I now want to put most of my focus on all the exciting and challenging parts of my daily work, but it’s difficult to completely let go of the long-term and stimulating aspects of working on the board, so this is a perfect solution.”

All the board members have now taken office and are actively working on the next steps in Briab’s development and towards our vision: Lead – don’t follow.
